About Me

Hi, my name is Jesse Cometa, I am a student at California State University, East Bay (Graduating class of 2024), pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science. This website will show off my academic and personal projects that I have created and collaborated on throughout my college career.

  • DVD Manager - A GUI-driven, Java-based application which organizes movie DVDs with several features
  • Simple Shell - A shell program written in C based on the Linux command line which can run normal Linux shell commands as well as a few additional commands.
  • Hangman Game - A console-based application written in MIPS Assembly language simulating the simple game of hangman.
  • Boggle Solver - A program that uses recursive techniques to solve a Boggle board written in C++.

  • Blackjack Game - A GUI-driven, Python-based app simulating the casino card game of Blackjack
  • Text Replacer - A Python application that replaces text given by the user in files selected by the user
  • Pi-Hole and PiVPN - A custom DNS server that acts as an adblocker utilizing the Raspberry Pi Zero W 2 (+ personal VPN)
